To have these wonderful little bits in a bag already crunched up and ready to use is on up there with sliced bread for me. When I was younger a Heath bar was my second favorite candy bar, shortly after a Snickers. It is not only incorporated into the light and fluffy pie, this pie is topped off with it.Īs much as I love chocolate I also love heath toffee bits. It can be used as a topping, dip or just lick it off a spoon. It is simply scrumptious and should be on the top of any chocolate lovers must haves. If you have never had or made chocolate whipped cream you don’t know what you are missing. Once flattened it should look like this the crumbs should form one solid piece.It is summer time and I am all about no bake desserts!! I also have a small love affair with anything chocolate, and this Whipped Chocolate Candy Crunch Pie is enough to get you “Chocolate wasted”, LOL. Then squash the mixture down to compress it – I do this by using my hand inside a sandwich bag but you could chose to flatten with a heavy object insteadġ6. Spread out until it’s in an even layerġ5. Tip the mixture into the buttered trayġ3. Butter your baking tray (this will make it easier to get the chocolate crunch out of the pan)ġ2. Once fully mixed you’ll have a dry mixture which forms togetherġ1. And mix until fully combined – this could take a couple of minutes.ġ0. Then add the melted butter to the dry mixtureĩ. To a pan add the butter (or if you prefer, you can microwave it)ħ. Stir until all ingredients are fully combined and you have a light brown mixtureĥ. Then, a friend of mine who still attended college at the school asked a dinner lady for the recipe – and she gave it! I have adjusted this recipe since to make it a (tiny bit) healthier/lighter, and a bit richer in the chocolate flavour. A couple of years after high school I started to really miss and crave the snack, thinking about sneaking into the school canteen to acquire a tray full.
